IT’S TIME TO ORDER YOUR CRANBERRIES!
Our Group is again offering cranberries fresh and direct from the family-owned grower in central Wisconsin. These berries are plump and delicious and just in time for holiday meals. They keep well in the freezer for up to 12 months so stock up now! $3.75 per one-pound bag. Ordering deadline is October 31 with delivery in early November.
Contact Jeff Sytsma at 262 637-6845 or Jeff12759 AT aol DOT com to place order.

RAIN BARRELS AVAILABLE
Many people who wanted a rain barrel were disappointed by the supply problem this year and got them quite late in the season. They are available now so get one and be ready for next spring! They cost $50 and include an overflow hose and brass spigot. Delivery and installation are available for an extra charge.
Contact Jeff Sytsma at 262 637-6845 or Jeff12759 AT aol DOT com to place order.

The City of Racine is subsidizing the cost for City residents and offers two options:
-Delivery by Sierra Club for $30 per barrel
-Delivery and installation by Sierra Club for $45 (extra items such as blocks to elevate barrel, fittings and adaptors may add to the cost, payable to Sierra Club at time of installation).
Call 262 619-2489. Payment must be made in person by cash, check or credit card at Racine City Hall, 730 Washington Ave Room 303. They will forward the information to Jeff Sytsma and he will make arrangements with you for delivery. Maximum order of two barrels.

The Southeast Gateway Group thanks Nancy Hennessy, who is Retiring from the ExComm, for her many years of service on the

a true champion of the earth.

Kari Olesen
I am going into my third year as a member of SEGG. I spent the last two years as a member of the executive committee. I am also involved with the conservation committee; particularly the bottled water education events. Recently, I have taken over as chair of the publication and calendar committee. I am looking forward to working with SEGG more and would like the chance to continue serving on the Executive committee.

Amy Furrenes
I became a member of the Sierra in Kenosha after being elected an environmental steward for UW-Parkside. We have started an environmental club on campus and have teamed up with the Sierra club to help increase environmental awareness in our community. We have installed 3 rain gardens on campus, and look to install more in the future. When I begin teaching at Tremper in the fall, I plan on working with their environmental club with the hope of forming more connections with UW-Parkside and the Sierra club. Thank you again for your consideration of me for the Sierra Club Executive Committee.

Dennis Flath
I am a semi-retired biology teacher, and I have been a member of the Sierra Club for over 20 years. During that time I have served as chair of the ExComm, have attended numerous annual planning sessions, worked on the Autumn Assembly planning, and have served on several sub-committees for the SEGG

Laura Feider
I have completed my first two years on the Executive Committee and would love to continue. I started my term as secretary for the Executive Committee and enjoy this role. I am also involved with the Environmental Education and Conservation Committees. I have been involved, especially, with the bottled water education table that the Conservation Committee has been doing at various events. I also currently serve on the Pringle Nature Center board, in Bristol, as their secretary and volunteer at their Nature Center. I have also taken over getting announcements, for our meetings, out to our local newspapers.

John Berge
I am a retired scientist, formerly working at S. C. Johnson, E. I. duPont and the Army Chemical Center. I was a charter member of the Southeast Gateway Group and have served the Group and the Chapter in a number of positions. I have been Group Chair and Treasurer and currently serve as the Group Conservation Chair. I have been both a Group Delegate and an At-large member of the Chapter ExComm, and served as Chapter Vice-Chair and Chair, a Chapter Delegate to the Sierra Club Council and several other positions. Having served on the Group ExCom for fourteen years, I promise that this will be the last time I stand for election.
