In natural amounts, carbon dioxide and other gases warm Earth's surface by trapping solar heat in the atmosphere, thus keeping our planet habitable. However, excess amounts of these gases i the atmosphere can have catastrophic impacts on Earth's habitability. The vast majority of scientists now agree that the burning of fossil fuels and the clearing of forests have caused excess amounts of gases to accumulate in the atmosphere, and that related catastrophic changes are already affecting our ability to inhabit this planet.

However, if we all make small changes to our daily routines, these changes can add up to big differences in helping to stop global climate disruption and prevent future consequences. Now is the time to come together to solve this problem!
