Sierra Club appreciates JFC bipartisan support for: (1) Reauthorizing the Stewardship Fund for another decade at $105 million anually; (2) Funding manure storage and other projects to control polluted runoff from fields and streets; (3) Increasing the recycling tipping fee to $6 per ton; and (4) Approving $17 million to clean up contaminated river sediments.
Action Needed
The State Budget was signed into law as 2005 ACT 20, on Oct. 26, 2007.
